This short film was showcased in the installation "A Machete From Our Altar Kept Me Safe". This is an autobiographical piece that I wrote, directed, filmed, edited, and performed. Reflecting on my experiences as a Trans, Queer, Black Puerto Rican, critiquing capitalism, imperialism, racism, and transphobia through abstract explorations of my experience with religious practices and movement. Created before the beginning of my medical transition into womanhood, it marks a significant moment in my personal and artistic journey.
