This video installation was part of the group show “Ties that Bind” which explored maintaining diasporic connections through tradition, research, and legacy. This video installation reflected my personal experiences and connection to altars, symbolizing cultural roots and community ties while addressing themes of protection, systemic oppression, and the fight for Puerto Rican independence.
