Awards & Recognitions

I was chosen for the 2025 Revealed Emerging Artist Series by the Sculpture Center in Cleveland, Ohio, which awards emerging artists the opportunity to create work for a funded solo exhibition, recognizing artists within the first ten years of their careers whose practices include sculpture, installation, mixed media, relational aesthetics, and performance.

In December 2024, I was chosen as one of the 12 women, trans*, and/or gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers in the Greater Philadelphia region to receive this award from the Leeway Foundation, in recognition of my long-term commitment to art and social change over the past five years or more.

In 2021, I was chosen for the inaugural Art Works grant from the Forman Arts Initiative and the Philadelphia Foundation, which supports visual and performing artists connected to Greater Philadelphia communities, emphasizing artists that integrate community perspectives and aim to influence the region’s civic identity.

I was selected for the Linda Lee Alter Fellowship in 2022, which provides an opportunity for one queer artist to explore connection, transformation, and liberation at Da Vinci Art Alliance through a year-long fellowship leading to a solo exhibition.

I received an Emergency Grant for my project "Mi Isla y Yo" from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts. The mission of this grant is to support contemporary, experimental work by providing urgent funding for visual and performing artists across the United States for projects taking place both domestically and internationally.
